Halston memories

I was delighted to contribute a chapter about Factory phenom Victor Hugo to the terrific book published in conjunction with the Halston/Warhol show at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh this summer by Abrams New York. One of my duties at my first job (at Halston’s design studio) was finding props for the notoriously edgy windows that VH designed for the Halston boutique. Victor’s contribution to the Halston hype in the 54 era is too often overlooked.
